I had the pleasure of being trained by Juris in Crossfit classes for just under a year before I decided to go for a more personal approach towards my training. I have been personal training with Juris for around 3 months now and have enjoyed every session (tough, but that’s why we do it!) •

For me, Juris has a very clear structure and logistical approach towards training, one that we share. Goals were set, programmed and practiced and some have been achieved and some are on the way to being achieved.
The sessions, although tough, at the end seem like a sense of achievement, and this wouldn’t be possible without Juris’ expertise and more importantly, encouragement.
Juris’ personal training sessions really do speak for themselves and have to be experienced to get the rewards you desire. I would urge anyone interested to have at least one session with Juris and go from there.
Aside from training, it has been very nice to get to know Juris on a more personal level, which is of equal importance.

I cannot recommend Juris highly enough; he carefully tailors our sessions to challenge me and I have gained confidence, lost weight and I feel happier, healthier, stronger as a result.  It’s fair to say that prior to meeting him, spending time in a gym, let alone a CrossFit Box wasn’t really my idea of a great evening out; whilst I may still be some way off the CrossFit Games he has genuinely changed my attitude to fitness.

Juris Vjacirs is a truly excellent trainer. He is the perfect combination of tough and warm and he also works well with the whole person, mentally, emotionally and physically. On the outset, Juris and me grabbed a coffee and had a ‘no-hold’ conversation about my lack of motivation, boredom and energy, how l felt tired and very weak, this had affected my overall confidence and daily outlook, but l warned him, l would tell him if l felt ‘cheated’ or ‘duped’ if we trained together and results didn’t materialise.

I had to eat my words, l became stronger, he made sure of that, a precise and detailed routine was set-up for me, avoiding repitition and tedium, he would challenge my idea of exercise, testing my perceptions of me, guess what?, he motivated me to push past my perceived limits to get results.
I have incredible energy, my balance and flexibility have improved immensely and I’ve got great confidence. If you are serious about changing your life for the better, Juris will lead you every step of the way.
